Traveling means discovering cultures, colors, and traditions. But for Anirav Brand, it also means encountering fabrics. This research gives rise to the Stories from the World collection, a project that combines fabrics discovered during travels with Italian tailoring.
The first garment in this collection is the Atlas corset.
The search for fabrics during travels
Every creation in the collection is born long before a garment is designed. It is born in textile markets, in specialized shops, among rolls of rich fabrics full of history and tradition.
During travels, fabrics from different parts of the world are selected, from Mongolia to China, to other countries rich in textile tradition. Intense colors, decorative motifs, traditional jacquards: each fabric is chosen for its uniqueness.
It's not just about materials, but about cultural stories enclosed in the fabric's weaves.
The Atlas corset: the first garment in the collection
The Atlas corset is born precisely from this idea: transforming fabrics discovered during travels into contemporary garments.
Each corset is made using fabrics selected in different parts of the world and then entirely crafted 100% Made in Italy by Italian tailors and pattern makers. The result is a garment that combines distant textile traditions and modern design.
The adjustable structure with a ribbon allows for adapting the fit, making the corset versatile and easy to wear.

A garment that tells the story of travel
The Atlas corset is not just a piece of clothing. It is the meeting point between different cultures: the fabrics tell distant traditions, while Italian tailoring gives shape to a contemporary design.
Each fabric variation makes the garment unique: Chinese floral motifs, Mongolian jacquards, intense colors, and unexpected contrasts.
Wearing it means carrying a piece of a journey with you.
Fabrics from around the world, Italian tailoring
The Stories from the World collection is born precisely from this dialogue between distant places and Italian craftsmanship. The fabrics are discovered during travels, but they come to life in Italian workshops, where they are transformed into contemporary garments.
The Atlas corset is just the first step in this journey: a project that celebrates travel, research, and the value of sartorial work.
